This week, students were given the following documents and completed the following assignments. Please see me if you have any questions or special concerns.
Wednesday: The English II Syllabus was reviewed on Monday; students also filled out a notecard with the following information on it: Name (first, last), mailing address, parent’s phone, parent’s email, parent’s name. Students were also to turn in their summer reading assignment. Homework: Students should have the last page of the syllabus filled out by a parent/guardian and submitted for a grade on Tuesday.
Friday: Summer reading and syllabus slips were taken. Students were given time to complete the reading and writing reactions form, if necessary. We spent the majority of the class discussing our responses to reading and writing over the course of our educational careers.
