English 1, 2, Honors: Tuesday is Trippin’

Today, students responded to ACT 5.3:

I had no qualms, of course, about enjoying the results of his labor: the potatoes, squash, cucumbers, and cauliflower that he pursued out of the earth.

C. It stands to reason, then, that I certainly would have no qualms
D. I had no qualms, as a consequence of it

Students should see below to find the rest of the classroom activities.

English 1: Students used the Poetry Analysis Worksheet to analyze the lyrics to one song; on Thursday, we’ll analyze the second song.

Honors 2: Students used class time to practice the project presentation; students were given a chance to practice using the document camera, as well.

English 2: Students were given time in the library to create and print the product info sheet; requirements are found in the Product Research Project Explanation and Rubrics handout.
