English 2, Honors: Peer Grading

Today, students practiced writing responses from Tuesday’s assignment.

Students traded papers with their partners.  Then, they went through the following checklist on the paper.

  • Paragraphs present? How many?:
  • Paragraphs indented?
  • Question answered?
  • FARTED correct for prompt?
  • Neat handwriting?
  • SEE structure in each supporting paragraph (unless story)?

Students were given back their revised papers and were instructed to redo the assignment for homework.  Tomorrow, we will share our pieces and discuss them.
