Perfection Journals and Reading

We went to the library to exchange/renew/check out books.  If you were absent, be sure you do this before Wednesday, the next reading day.

Then, students responded to the journal prompt below:

“Perfection is my enemy.” –Francesca Battistelli; Often, we see perfect images of others in magazines. How does this influence how we view ourselves? What can we do to keep from losing touch with reality yet still continually improve ourselves? Explain.

Then, students read independently.  If you were absent, be sure you submit a journal response and a half-page summary of your reading.

[Honors English 2 were able to talk in their groups about their projects for about 15 minutes.]
