“Life in your years”

Today, students responded to the journal prompt below:

“And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count.  It’s the life in your years.”  –Abraham Lincoln; How do you plan to make this year in your life count?  Explain.

Then, students read independently.  If you had an excused absence, read for 20 minutes and write a half-page summary of your reading.  Submit it for credit.
