Vocab-a-looza!

Today, students answered the following OGT question (which absent students must answer and submit):

I visited uncle Bill, who is a doctor in the Midwest.

  • A. I visited Uncle Bill, who is a Doctor in the midwest.
  • B. I visited Uncle Bill, who is a doctor in the Midwest.
  • C. I visited Uncle Bill, who is a Doctor in the Midwest.
  • D. I visited uncle Bill who is a doctor in the Midwest.

Then, students were put into groups and given vocabulary words.  In the groups, students found the definition of the word using the dictionary or encyclopedia and presented their terms/concepts to the class.  We will finish the rest of these on Thursday and then continue with introduction activities.
