The Southern Depression in the 1930s: An introduction

Today, students answered the practice OGT question, as follows (and absent students must submit their answers to the following question, as well):

I visited uncle Bill, who is a doctor in the Midwest.

  • A. I visited Uncle Bill, who is a Doctor in the midwest.
  • B. I visited Uncle Bill, who is a doctor in the Midwest.
  • C. I visited Uncle Bill, who is a Doctor in the Midwest.
  • D. I visited uncle Bill who is a doctor in the Midwest.

Then, students split up into partners.  Students were given two group activities from the Group Mockingbird Setting Introduction packet.  Students were to follow the tasks written at the top of their article.  We will finish these on Thursday.
